How to play Football 2048
Football 2048 takes the legendary sliding-tile puzzle and swaps the numbers for football clubs. The board is a 4×4 grid. Every move slides all the tiles as far as they can go in the direction you choose, and when two tiles showing the same club bump into each other, they merge into the next club up the ladder — exactly like 2 + 2 becoming 4 in the original 2048, except here it might be two Arsenals becoming a Chelsea.
After every move, a new low tile pops up in a random empty square, so the board steadily fills. Keep merging to climb toward the most decorated club in the game. The board only locks when it is completely full with no merges left — until then, the chase for a new high score never stops.

- Pick a corner and stick to it. Keep your biggest club anchored in one corner and build down from there.
- Don't chase every merge. Make moves that keep the board tidy rather than grabbing small combos that scatter your tiles.
- Use one "dead" direction sparingly. Many top players almost never swipe in the direction that would dislodge their corner.
- Think a move ahead. Picture where the new tile might appear before you commit.
